TOEIC Results and Moreton Island

It's long... forgive me c:

Well, it's raining gently outside today, which is not usual. Because next weekend, Friday to Sunday, I'm being off to Moreton island, which is right on Brissie's doorstep, with my friend and we're ready to chillax with full of expectations, hope it'll never be like today please... Cross your fingers for us which would never works out though:) This island is renowned for the third largest sand island and a perfect holiday destination with laid-back atmosphere like a haven although as far as I know the most, second and third biggest sand ones are all in Australia, near Brisbane, which is a little weird... Who said... Anyway, there are heaps of things to see and do. We're squeezing in entire three days of Tangalooma thrills ,where is a part of the island. Hope it's going to be brilliant.

Yesterday, I joined an indoor soccer activity that is basically on every Fri arvo after classes because I heard it was going to be the last time that we gather and play together this year. This also means yesterday was the last opportunity I could do so since I'm leaving:) I didn't attend recent 3 times so that I thought I sorta had to get used to the form of TOEIC with some textbooks. Although, lately and unluckily, I've found my eyesight getting a bit poor, which is clearly pretty much negative and don't let me play like what I was (not serious no worries), it was an awesome time that everyone from different countries played football and shared the time. Just a moment after the activity done at 4pm, I and one of my friends headed straight for where we took TOEIC in the city that is available until 5pm to receive its results. Not really though, we were kind of apprehensive because, for us like those who's done any study abroad, this can possibly be the only way that they show their English skills or how they're measured what they've got what it takes when being in competitive job markets. And then, well.. we got the result, which is... you know... hey.. the Reading part... off and harsh as hell... I heard another friend who also took it together got nearly full score, which freaked me out, and at the same time, I was pretty much impressed:( Asked, I'd never mind telling my score in any way with genuinely no reason so, go ahead c: Also there will be the same test coming on 12th of January, which I'm sitting in Japan and hopefully I get higher. After I got the score, I had a round and dinner with 4 of my friends in the city and drunk a bit as having a chat.

Whatever 2weeks left here and Christmas is upcoming. On the way home yesterday as I was walking down to the bus station, I found some building in the city with kind of Christmas decoration on its sides covered in lights, inferring like the arrival of one of the most fancy and absorbing season. Where I'll be then is in Japan though, Pretty sure it's gonna be wicked for mates in here Australia,
HappAussie  Summer  Christmas !!
Yesterday lit the Brisbane City Christmas Tree, which at least I didn't know until my share mate told me and should've seen its event held at King George Square. Anyway, I'll look forward to next weekend, going back to Japan and maybe applying for jobs...? OMG..  If I went on and make this longer, many of you might hate me and seem not to look through any more .. Yep, let's call it a day. I'll see you and blog soon later Bye:)

今回は日本語で in Japanese

Sorry for in Japanese this time:) I'll do in English for the following one if I'm in the mode c:

One One One...

City Cat ;a public transport in Brisbane
Didn't you miss AM11:11? No worries, there will be another chance upcoming PM11:11 soon. Miss it if you don't care... I never care:D

Today the last session just began and tomorrow a new class will be getting started, which would be alright. A few days in a week, to revise what I did in classes I'm at a library, I'm going to get sleepy there though. Just shortly before, I was at the library and konked out(fell asleep without realising), then my phone rang. Because "Unknown" was popped up on the screen, I picked up it as I was wondering who, then I found the voice coming out familiar so I realised that it's Gabriel, who is one of my friends I met in the Philippines and now he's stayed and worked in Sydney. It's actually not the first time to talk with him on the phone though since he made a call as well before. I was thinking I would visit him on the way home, which is this December and I didn't told him. However, he said he's supposed to move somewhere, could be Brisbane, soon to look for another job and leave Sydney, which I didn't reckon. Never mind Gabriel:) He also told me what a couple of "the Philippines friends" are going on. Although it was a sort of shot conversation through the phone, I was literally happy to hear from him and I felt proud of him so much than I thought it would. This may or may not be because of his cheerful voice tone or his something that made me chilled out. I've got not really a load of but some international contacts and I honestly wouldn't say everyone can still tell me, but this kind of reminded me of attitudes towards anyone, never seriously but clearly and accessibly. Other than that I'm good so see ya:)

A Thing I'll Be Doing Before Back To Japan

a class of how to throw a boomerang

Last Friday, I popped to an English school which is one of the authorised test centres for TOEIC so as to register for the test. The next TOEIC public testing will be on 22nd of November and the cost I was told was $180, which is around 3 times pricier than taking it in Japan. This isn't apparently wallet-friendly as I could say to household goods, daily products and food in the same way in  Australia. Here the cost of living is kinda freaking expensive, I can say, because of these prices. Although this is true, it's necessary for me to sit the exam because I need to have the score of TOEIC which is basically used for showing s1's English skill when applying for a job. On the day last Friday, I would like to pay the fee there but by mistake I didn't bring my credit card in my wallet so I couldn't, which was annoying and I was such an idiot. This made me go to the school again and today I just wrapped it up. Shortly after I left there, I also needed to take a passport size photo of myself because I won't be able to receive an official score if I don't have it, so went straight to the post office, which has its service I've heard, and did it. $16.95 for 6 photos.... which is... wow At the post office, firstly I queued up to ask the service, then my turn came and I spoke to a postal worker, who was a woman. She let me go in front of the camera set up just at a corner there and said to me something, which I couldn't get... sorry about that:(, then without any sighs like 3,2,1 or sth took a photo. There wasn't any time to make my appearance better though... When I first saw the photo given to me, it looked a bit weird because of all my somehow thick hair,  odd facial expression on it and unbalanced beard. If possible, I wish I had time to look at a mirror to check how I looked. Anyway I'll bring this photo with me at the day I take the exam and try to do well. Let me do some preparations of it. Wish me luck.
