Thanks to "ate"

 In our lives in Baguio city Phil , the students have classes fr. 8:00-6:40 p.m on weekdays. During every weekends , some hang out downtown while others go to one or two days trip.

  Our day to day activities are being supported by "ate" and that's the reason why the students can be engaged in study or have a free time.

 3 meals are served everyday , and there is laundry service 3x a week. Our dormitories are kept neatly , further , the messy bed is made up in 2 days after we rolled about a lot in our sleep.

  "ate" appears to stand as "sisters" in Tagalog language , which is used when we call older respectable women. Dressed in the yellow T-shirs with the school's logo printed on it , they work either as a housekeeper or as one of our family member. I really appreciate their help. Thank you for your supports.

ここフィリピンはバギオの英語学校での生活は、平日は朝8:00に授業が始まり、夕方18:40にひと段落です。休日は市内に出かけたり、外泊して小旅行に出掛ける人もいます。

ただ、生徒たちがこの様に勉強に集中できたり自分の時間が持てるのは、他ならない"アテ"の支えがあるからです。

朝・昼・夜と毎日欠かさずカフェテリアではご飯が用意され、週に3回の洗濯サービス。寮の部屋は一定の汚レベルを超えることはなく、寝相が悪くてシーツをひっくり返しても2日も経てば綺麗にベットメイキングされています。

"アテ"はタガログ語で"お姉さん"という意味のようです。年上の方に使う言葉とのこと。学校のロゴの入ったお揃いの黄色いTシャツを着て、部屋の掃除やご飯の用意などの家事をしてくれているか、生徒のことを気にかけてくれているか、どちらかに一方です。これからもお世話になります！
